Recur does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no trackers. We cannot see your subscriptions, your spending, or anything else you put into the app.
Everything you enter (subscriptions, prices, categories, reminders, notes) is stored on your device. If iCloud sync is on, it is also stored in your private iCloud database, which is operated by Apple and readable only by your Apple Account. We have no access to it. Deleting the app (or using Settings › Delete All Data) removes your data; iCloud copies follow Apple's deletion rules.
Recur makes two kinds of network requests, neither of which includes anything you entered in the app:
api.frankfurter.dev (European Central Bank reference rates) to convert currencies. No personal data is sent.cdn.jsdelivr.net to fetch an updated list of service names and logos shown in the picker. No personal data is sent.Like any web request, these servers technically receive your IP address to deliver the response. Recur adds no identifiers to these requests and keeps no server logs; we run no servers at all.
Smart Add reads screenshots, emails, and PDFs you choose to share with Recur using Apple's on-device text recognition. Images and documents never leave your device. The camera, when you use live scan, is processed on device and nothing is stored.
The Full Version unlock is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no personal information about you.
Renewal reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They do not go through any server.
Recur does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear at this address with an updated date. Since Recur collects nothing, changes would only ever describe new features, not new data collection.
